Digital Story Reflection

                The assignment was to create a slide show or “Digital Story”. We as a class had to use pictures from our lives. The class needed to create a story that involved pictures from our lives or past. The rules of this assignment were that we needed the story to be at least one minute long.

                My digital story was about poets and all the places I’ve seen them. Throughout the whole year I’ve probably see a handful of poets. I used images from open mics and performances to create my digital story. I used those images because they interested me the most.

                I chose this story because I’ll probably remember later on in life. And then I’ll tell my kids they should talk to their teachers about spoken word. This story is significant to me because it’s something I’ll probably do my whole life.

                I think I did a good job on this project. I followed the rules enough. I like imovie I find it a lot easier then Photoshop, but I still prefer Photoshop over imovie. I’ll describe my experience as a go one, I remember how I said I’ll never understand any of this but now I feel pretty knowledgeable about it. I learned about imovie and Photoshop, I’m sure I’ll have to use them again in an art and humanities university/college.
