Sihouette

Reflection

The assignment was to create a silhouette, which had to be a picture of you. The picture didn’t have to show your whole body you could have used only you head. I only used my upper body. I used illustrator for this project it was new from Adobe Photoshop. I found it somewhat easier to use then Photoshop though.

I don’t really remember what I did because I was having a hard time use the illustrator program. I was taking forever trying to learn how to use it and practicing using it wasn’t getting me anywhere. I got annoyed and started working on my project I came up with most of my ideas by experimenting with different brushes and styles.

Now that I think about it I didn’t crop any of my pieces. All of my pieces stayed on the canvas the same way I didn’t tilt or rotate my silhouette. I played around with the text a lot, I found this paint brush and a paint stroke that I used to write my text, it was kind of hard because I couldn’t release the left click or I’ll mess up my text.

I think I did pretty well on this assignment. I finished around the same time everyone else finished. I wouldn’t mind doing this project again because I still had some more ideas that could had been used.

  1. I really like your first one because of the colors you choosed the purple background really brought the yellow and the black outline gave it a extra touch on your sihouette.
